The Word for today is found in Psalms 92:12-15
The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing, to declare that the Lord is upright: He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
Matthew 7:24 is the teaching of Jesus where one man built his house on the rock and when the floods came it did not fall. The other man built his house on sand and when the foods came great was its fall.
If you build your life on any other foundation other than Jesus Christ and his Word you will not stand when the winds and rain come.
It is so important in these last days that we be grounded and rooted in the whole truth of God’s Word. To be dependent on the world system will only bring disappointment and destruction.
God will cause you to flourish even in the hard times if your mind is stayed on his Word.
It is those who hear and do the Word who will overcome tribulation.
Jesus never said that tribulation would not come. He did say that he would see you through it by the power of the indwelling Word.
Start today on the sure foundation of the Word.
Love in Christ, Pastor Louise.
