The Word for today is found in Philemon 1:6

That the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

What you do not know you cannot acknowledge, therefore you need to find who you are in Christ Jesus. There is no better place to start than in the book of Ephesians. It tells us all the things that have been given to us at the new birth in Christ.

Once you learn who you are and what has been given to you, you can begin to apply your faith to it. You must have knowledge of the Word to operate in faith; otherwise you are only operating in wishful thinking.

Once you put these things together then you need to confess what you have, for faith has a voice. You cannot believe one thing and then speak another. That is a double-minded man and he will receive nothing from the Lord.

Faith knows something. Faith says something. And Faith acts on what it believes.
