The Word for today is found in Philippians 2: 13-15

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.

The Israelites murmured against God and never did enter into the Promised Land that God had planned for them. They walked around in the desert for forty years because they just did not get it.

They were so ungrateful of all the wonderful things that the Lord had done to deliver them from the hand of the enemy. In the end it cost them the blessings that God had planned for them. Only their children entered Canaan.

Murmuring, and disputes among Christians, do not speak well of the love of Christ we are to have one for another. The world is watching us, and some of our lights do not shine well in the world we live in today.

Strife will stop the work of the Holy Spirit not only in your own life but also in the work that he want to do in the local church. Where there is strife there is every evil work.

We all need to work day by day on our love walk and put our flesh under the authority of the Word of God.

Love, In Christ. Pastor Louise.
